About

We were established in December 2023 as a regionally-based, global KPO* company with the support of Nagasaki Prefecture, Nagasaki City, the Fukuoka Financial Group, and the Juhachi-Shinwa Bank.
We've started out with a staff of roughly 20 people, handling Singapore head office operations on consignment for the ONE container company.
Our starting members are leading us as we set our company on a steady trajectory and build up our capabilities as a KPO company. At the same time, we are focusing on human resource development, such as establishing career paths for our ONE head office. Our goal is to expand to a company with several hundred staff members, providing contracted services to companies both inside Japan and abroad.

(*KPO: Knowledge Process Offshoring. This consists of outsourcing high-level knowledge processes, and requires high-level abilities and specialized knowledge in areas such as investigation and analysis.)

There are three main reasons that we established our company in Nagasaki.
① The close affinity between maritime industry and the culture of Nagasaki, which has developed through the years, starting with Dejima
② The presence of eight universities, sources of high quality human resources
③ The bonds we have established with the people of Nagasaki through various events.
Attracted by features such as this, we chose to make Nagasaki our home.

We aren't a company that simply performs fixed, predefined operations. Instead, we're always keeping our eyes and ears open, gathering new information and expertise and polishing our own skills so that we can constantly take on new challenges. We see the success of our clients as our own success, so we are working to elevate the level of our services and provide new proposals to our clients. Of course, there are limits to what we can do on our own. That's why we plan to leverage the strengths of Nagasaki Prefecture, Nagasaki City, its universities, and our partners to realize our vision.

Our name, "ONE DEJIMA," is not simply a combination of "ONE," our shareholding company, and "Dejima," the region where we are based. ONE also represents uniting diverse abilities and people around the world so that we can leverage their exceptional strengths. DEJIMA represents our dedication to taking a step outside of convention, which is how Nagasaki's Dejima area secured its place in history. Our name reflects our dream, that even the smallest company can take its place on the massive global stage.

Our mission is "Empowering global business from Nagasaki." The new initiatives we're implementing will spread to other cities and bring new life to all of Japan. All of our employees and stakeholders are working together as one to make this a regionally-based global company that will generate this positive feedback cycle.
